Fernando Garino founded Gramínea Partners in 2018, bringing +25 years of investment banking expertise in Latin America and over US$3.0 billion in +100 closed transactions. He previously served as Managing Partner and Head of Mergers & Acquisitions for Puente, a leading independent investment banking firm where he was responsible for Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay. Before joining Puente, he worked for 13 years at Alpax Inc. (a Miami-based advisory boutique specialized in M&A and fund raising in Latin America) as Managing Director and Country Manager for Argentina, Uruguay and Chile. Prior to that, he was a Senior Associate at ING Barings’ Latin American M&A team based out of New York and credit analyst at Santander Investment’s Buenos Aires office. Fernando currently serves as an independent Board Member for Mercantil Andina (P&C Insurance) and Atis Group (Telecom Infrastructure). Fernando was also an independent Board Member of Grimoldi (Retail Footwear & Apparel). He received his B.S. in Economics from Torcuato Di Tella University and attended several ING Barings professional development courses.

M&A ADVISORY
We provide advice to our clients on a wide range of local and cross-border transactions, including sales, mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, capitalizations and divestitures. We advise on strategy, timing, structure, pricing, and we assist in negotiating and closing transactions. Our clients include business corporations, private equity and/or investment firms, private individuals and family offices.
FUNDRAISING
We assist clients in their capital structure optimization by offering alternative financing solutions such as debt, structured debt, mezzanine and/or equity. We provide access to local and international fund providers (both banks and capital markets), multilaterals and specialized alternative financial investors.
